our recent stay in westhill was amazing, but staying at byde guesthouse was the highlight of our trip. the stunning views and impeccably clean and spacious rooms exceeded our expectations. simon and claire were incredible hosts who made us feel so welcome. we will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time.

Nothing to complain about, the venue met every demand, can recommend it. It was an excellent home base for our wonderful stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful too.

All the staff was welcoming, settled my issues. The food was great and the location was fantastic. Plus, main attraction such as Dunecht House Golf Club was 4 km from this hotel.

Incredible setting, just next door to Aberdeen and Westhill, the beautiful Dee valley and impressive castles and scenery. Units with the luxurious bathroom.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing place called Byde. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendliest and most kind-hearted couple, Simon and Claire. The design and facilities of the guesthouse were absolutely stunning, and I was truly impressed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. In fact, I've stayed in many 4 and 5-star hotels before, but if I were to rate Byde, it would definitely be a strong 5-star experience. I can't wait to come back and stay longer next time!

We had an amazing family getaway at this cozy B&B nestled in the breathtaking countryside. The nearby hiking trails were perfect for exploring with the kids, and we enjoyed stunning views of rolling hills and babbling brooks. The comfortable accommodations, warm hospitality, and delicious breakfast made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for families looking to unwind and connect with nature.

For dads, it would be great to have a small outdoor play area for the kids.

The location is ideal for exploring the Dee valley and nearby towns like Banchory and Crathes.

Felt like home, with Simon and Clare going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
